RESEARCH PROJECTS, REPORTS, AND CASE STUDIES.

The chapter I read was a deep look on how to be efficient as well as manage and develop future research projects, reports and case studies. It starts all the way back from what each term actually means and begins to dissect all the benefits and risks of independent studies. It talks about the structure of each study as well as challenges we may face along the way.

I actually found this chapter to be very useful and something that I will revert to when I am having trouble with any future assignments. One of the main things I took away from it was how to manage several projects or assignments at once. I typically get comfortable whenever I get a good start on an assignment and leave the remaining until last second, however reading the advice written about starting straight away and sticking with it has opened my eyes to what I need to be doing to be successful in my own studies. Also since reading this chapter I have made a few appointments with my tutors in order to fully understand the upcoming assessments, because in order to succeed I cannot be afraid to ask.

The only thing I am critical of was the section on how to write questionnaires, the article states, "Avoid personal questions". However I believe that depending on the research, personal questions should be asked in order for it to be accurate.

Here is a a video I found to be very useful in regards to time management and how to avoid procrastination:

Here is a more in depth and detailed TedTalk video with speaker Rory Vaden discussing time management:
