Week 10

For the next couple of weeks, there will be minimal classes as each group is meant to focus on their edit and the only classes that we would have would be check up classes to see how the edits are going and our lectures provide valuable feedback that will all get implemented the following week, in our first class since filming, our lecturer called us in for class to see the footage that we have, and he provided us with his thoughts such as he cinematography and the type of cuts that might work with some of the shots, I would often put together a certain scene and instantly go to one of our lecturers for feedback in order to make sure that we are on the right track scene by scene and that would help speed up the revising process as every scene put together will be revised previously as opposed to all at the very end. The process had become extra difficult for me as we had no camera audio in our footage and only the boom pole audio, this was a problem as I would normally help sync it to the lips through the camera audio as in overlay to the regular, as well as our first AD at times not calling out the slate number, which is completely fine. However, that slowed down the edit as I was looking for the audio files and it slowed me down from showing our lectures an impressive version of what we been envisioning.
