During this week, we had our first class with guest lecturer Fred, where we had in depth discussions on acting and how someone can completely and convincingly change personalities with the snap of a finger. The reason for these discussions are because we were told that all of us will have to pick a monologue to perform in class. I believe that this will greatly help the directors of our group to better understand how to bring out the best performance possible from our actors for our short films. We also had a class with Yazan where as a group we all began seeing things the same way in terms of the storyline, plot, and how it will be shot and edited. This class was crucial to our bonding as a team as since then we have been meeting regularly and making tremendous progress on fundraising, set design, script, and shots, compared to the first few weeks of the trimester.
