KEN ROBINSON - TED TALK

I found Ken Robinson's talk on altering the educational paradigms to be very compelling, my own assumption on the matter would be that he is precisely correct, I do believe that schools should establish a system in which they lecture the students through todays modern technology, through mediums that children would find easier to grasp and perceive such as computers, phones and tablets. Thus not limiting their creativity and freeing their minds.

I conclude that we can transition our educational experience by paying attention in the classroom, going to the libraries and reading on the certain topics that we have learnt, as well as researching through the internet in greater detail and not limit ourselves to only what is being taught in the classroom but to be able to expand on it where one day we would be able to teach it. As Ken Robinson states, “There are three principles on which human life flourishes, and they are contradicted by the culture of education under which most teachers have to labor and most students have to endure, diversity, curiosity, creativity" (2012)

I am personally very goal driven, the way I keep ahold of them is by writing them down, for example, the goal to have this blog entry done before the deadline was something I wrote down as a reminder. I review and work on my goals everyday, and when something is achieved I tick it off the list, this is what gives me added motivation.
